Stop clicking through irrelevant slides just to check a box. PACU CE is designed by pharmacists who understand your daily workflow and clinical challenges.
Every CE course is grounded in real clinical scenarios and current evidence. No generic pharmaceutical content — just practical knowledge you can apply at the bedside, in the pharmacy, or during rounds tomorrow.
Courses are broken into 15–30 minute modules so you can learn during a break, between shifts, or on the commute. Complete at your own pace without sacrificing depth or quality.
Written and reviewed by practicing pharmacists, for pharmacists. Every course addresses the unique clinical, operational, and therapeutic challenges that pharmacy professionals face every day.
Every PACU subscription includes ACPE-accredited CE credits. The more comprehensive your plan, the more hours you can earn each month.

Pharmacy & Acute Care University (PACU) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. All PACU CE activities meet ACPE standards for quality, relevance, and educational integrity.
PACU designates each CE activity for the stated number of contact hours of continuing pharmacy education credit. Learners must complete the activity, pass the post-assessment, and submit an evaluation to receive credit. ACPE Universal Activity Numbers (UANs) are assigned to each activity.
Your CE credits are automatically reported to ACPE through CPE Monitor within 60 days of completion. You do not need to submit any paperwork. Simply complete the course, pass the post-assessment with a score of 70% or higher, and submit the course evaluation. Your credits will appear in your CPE Monitor profile and on your PACU dashboard. Make sure your NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth are entered correctly in your PACU account settings to ensure seamless reporting.
Yes. PACU CE credits are ACPE-accredited and accepted by all 50 state boards of pharmacy for licensure renewal. Since CE requirements vary by state (number of hours, specific topic requirements, and renewal cycles), we recommend checking your state board’s specific requirements. Your downloadable CE transcript from PACU provides all the documentation you need for renewal submissions.
PACU offers both knowledge-based and application-based CE activities. Knowledge-based activities focus on building foundational understanding of pharmacotherapy topics, while application-based activities require you to apply concepts to clinical scenarios and patient cases. Both types count toward your state CE requirements. Each activity is clearly labeled with its type, credit hours, and ACPE Universal Activity Number (UAN).
You can retake the post-assessment as many times as needed at no additional cost. You must score 70% or higher to earn CE credit. After a failed attempt, we recommend reviewing the course material, paying special attention to the areas where you struggled. Each retake features a randomized question pool to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the material.
